A new Vestas V150 wind turbine with a rated electrical output of 6.0 megawatts was installed at the Groß Welle site. The plant is expected to produce around 14 million kWh of electricity per year at the site.
The turbine has a hub height of 169 meters above ground and a total height of 244 meters.
It will save around 11,000 tons of CO₂ per year and supply 9,000 people with clean electricity.
