In the process, <b>14 older <\/b>Vestas V80 <b>wind turbines <\/b>(2.0 MW each) and <strong>2 older<\/strong> Vestas V90 <strong>turbines<\/strong> (2.0 MW each) are to be replaced by 14 more powerful turbines of the latest generation:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>10 <\/b>Nordex N163 <b>turbines <\/b>with a capacity of <b>7.0 MW each<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>4 <\/b>Nordex N149 <b>turbines <\/b>with a capacity of <b>5.7 MW each<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"elementToProof\">The so-called <b>repowering process<\/b> can significantly increase the energy yield.<br \/>\nThe new plants are expected to generate <b>around 14.5 million kWh of electricity per year<\/b> per plant &#8211; enough to supply thousands of households with climate-friendly energy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"elementToProof\">The site is located in an existing wind farm with 25 turbines currently in operation. Other projects are already in the approval process or have already been approved.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"ui-provider a b c d e f g h i j k l m n o p q r s t u v w x y z ab ac ae af ag ah ai aj ak\" dir=\"ltr\">They will save around 154,000 tons of CO\u2082 per year and supply 133,000 people with clean
