Electricity for 59,000 people
The construction and operation of five Vestas V 150 wind turbines is planned at the Reifferscheid site. The new wind turbines each have a rated electrical output of 6.0 MW and are expected to produce an annual electricity volume of 18,000,000 kWh per wind turbine at the site.
They will save 69,000 tons of CO₂ per year and supply 59,000 people with clean electricity.
