Frankenfelde-Wriezen wind farm – repowering

In Frankenfelde-Wriezen in the Märkisch Oderland district, we are planning to modernize and expand an existing wind farm.

Modernization and expansion through repowering

In Frankenfelde-Wriezen in the district of Märkisch Oderland, an older Vestas V90 wind turbine (2.0 MW) is to be replaced by a more powerful turbine of the latest generation.

The new plant is expected to generate around 12.5 million kWh of electricity per year. The plant is currently in the approval process. Approval is expected at the end of 2025.

The plant will save around 10,000 tons of CO₂ per year and supply around 8,000 people with clean electricity.
