- 76 MWp project in north-east Germany acquired from Orrön Energy – early securing of a strategically important location for agrivoltaics
- Combination of solar power generation and agricultural use planned – sustainable land use as the key to greater acceptance in the region
- Further step in the expansion of the regional portfolio and Agri-PV expertise – strengthening of the project pipeline and targeted deepening of the northern strategy
The project fits seamlessly into the growth strategy of Saxovent Renewables, which is continuously expanding its portfolio in all key market areas, both organically and through targeted acquisitions. By joining Agri-PV, the company is also specifically promoting a concept that enables a partnership-based relationship and a meeting of equals for those involved.
With the purchase of this new Agri-PV project, Saxovent Renewables is not only expanding its own development spectrum, but also strengthening its regional presence in north-eastern Germany. In addition to its relevance to the energy industry, the project also offers opportunities for cooperation with agricultural businesses, local authorities and regional service providers – in line with Saxovent Renewables’ northern strategy, which was recently strengthened with the new site in Hanover.
